  For this international, glass fibre reinforced acrylic, bath and shower tray manufacturer, my primary function was to ensure the implementation, administration and application of, and where necessary make adjustments to, the company's QA / QC procedures and to ensure that the products conformed to both client, and EU DIN specifications. Further to this I acted as translator and liaison to the mainly German clients on, not only quality issues but, any other business matters. Working in close conjunction with the production manager I also provided analysis of material usage, and product reject / warranty costs, relative to set budgets. I prepared a company specific Quality Management System (QMS) Manual in preparation for a potential accreditation to the ISO 9001 standard, along with the redesign of the quality control documentation to suit.
