      • Bagged Best Small Branch Award and Best small Warehouse award for Branch Sales Office, Gwalior for increasing the sales volume by 100% during 2000 to 2003 and brought out a tremendous improvement in warehousing management as the Branch Sales Manager (Branch Head).• Proficiently elevated Branch Sales Office, Kolkata from “Sixth largest branch of SAIL” during 1996-97 to the “the largest sales branch of SAIL” during 2001-02 through all round improvement in Branch Sales Office performance as Branch Sales Manager (Branch Head). • Successfully closed down all old stockyards of BSO, Kolkata i.e, Paharpur Stockyard, Coal-berth Stockyard, Jaganath Ghat Stockyard, against adverse contract labour situation court cases etc., and started operation of Dankuni Stockyard during 2006, which was lying ready for almost one year but could not be started due to local political interference. Both these helped SAIL to curtail large amount of wasteful expenditure and improving Branch profitability. • Proactively reorganized business of Central Marketing Organization of SAIL (CMO) undertaken by consultant M/s McKenzie & Co as a member of the special task-force. • Efficiently led SAIL to achieve flat products sales of 2 million tons for the first time during 2003-04 and thereafter achieved record sales year after year 2005-2006 for NR, SAIL, CMO as Regional Marketing Manager (Head) Northern Region.• Implemented innovative Marketing/Pricing strategies/practices at BSO-Kolkata, Northern Region-New Delhi, Durgapur Steel Plant and NMDC Ltd-Hyderabad which resulted into huge financial gain to SAIL & NMDC.• As Technical advisor to senior level Marketing/Sales Executives including Director (Commercial) several suggestions on Business/ Marketing/ Pricing strategies got implemented in SAIL resulting into huge financial benefits to the company.
