  I kick-started my career as a volunteer at Al Bashair School in 2006, while I was still completing my Bachelor's degree in Abu Dhabi. I got hired upon graduation in fall 2008. At Al Bashair, I contributed towards the development of campaigns & projects aiming to publicize the school & position it as a K-12 leader in Abu Dhabi. I also designed & managed school events in coordination with external stakeholders, & led communication, design, & multimedia production efforts.

  I worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as a Senior Public Information Assistant for a project-based contract, where I participated in organizing the "Investing In the Future conference", the first high-profile conference of its kind to be conducted in the region. The conference took place in the city of Sharjah, and was attended by several VIP speakers and guests including Queen Rania of Jordan and Antonio Guterres, then United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
