  HND Deck Officer Cadet with the RFA studying at City of Glasgow College Faculty of Nautical and STEM.I’m currently in Phase 5 of training at COGC, having completed previous appointments on TIDE Class Product Tankers and BAY Class LSD(A)’s. Completing my training in March 2025, obtaining a OOW Unlimited II/1 CoC.

  Volunteer

  I am a Volunteer with GHS whilst studying at college in Glasgow. This involves raising awareness to the public on the dangers of the River Clyde and how to help someone in the event of an emergency. We also carry out rescue and recovery operations on the Clyde under Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire Brigade, whilst also servicing all life belts and other rescue equipment along the Clyde.I have carried out training afternoons with the scouts, teaching them all about how to throw life belts, throw lines and how to float in the event of them falling into the water. GHS has allowed me to thrive as a young person, giving me proficiencies in powerboat control and team work skills which have been very transferable across to my job in the Merchant Navy. Show less
