It was also my duty to design posters to… Show more My role as Class Representative involved: voicing student opinions, organising college trips and meeting with teachers to suggest changes to improve subject content.I also volunteered to help with charitable events, such as the ‘Christmas food collection’ where I spent time with a small group of peers decorating our classroom and creating Christmas themed food donation points. We collected hundreds of pounds worth of food for local charities. It was also my duty to design posters to advertise the collection and to personally visit classrooms to inform my peers of the collection.In 2017, I attended a day trip to Parliament, where my law group and I spoke with Stourbridge MP Margot James. We were divided into two teams, taking place in a debate which Margot observed and then provided us with feedback. Show less

  Activities and Societies: School Council Representative , Senior Student, Peer Mentor Prior to studying Law at GCSE, a trip to Birmingham Crown Court took place with the purpose of a mock trial. I attended the trip which made me realise that I wanted to learn more about the legal profession. Throughout my time at secondary school, I was elected as a School Council Representative for 4 years total. I gained my ASDAN level 2 qualification for Peer Mentoring whilst in my 4th year of study.Once I reached my final year, I was chosen to be a Senior Student. My duties included: monitoring corridors, providing advice to younger students and helping with extra curriculum events , such as parents evening and open days. Show less
