Modules I have studied include: Construction Technology, Construction Process Management, Procurement and Administration, Lean Organisational Management, Economics and Management, Law and Regulatory Framework, Environmental Science and Services. We have to create designs, cost figures, site plans, SWMP's, proposed forms of contracts, risk assessments, H&S plans, sustainability reports along with other necessary documents and reports. I have enjoyed both muliti-discipline projects and gained high marks in both and I feel this has given me valuable experience on how to manage a muli-discipline team on a project. Show less

      I was a Trainee Project Manager at Bardsley Construction. I worked on The Exchange project in Salford Quays, the £13.6m scheme involved the construction of 140 one and two-bed apartments, office space, residents’ gym and a basement car park in a 11-storey apartment block.Along side this as part of my training and development, I worked on a number of other projects all be it for short stints. The last 6 months of my time with Bardsley’s I worked alongside the Senior Design Manager as a Assistant Design Manager. This entailed working on multiple projects at any one time being heavily involved in the Pre-Construction and early development stages of the projects, and assisting the site team with design and technical queries.
