Conduct initial interviews and schedule mediation for youths diverted to our program.Input information into the database to keep track of our clients.Maintain contact with youth and their families to ensure that they are keeping to the terms of the agreement, which were decided in mediation. If families have concerns or additional feedback, I answer their questions or direct them to another member of the organization.I research and write summaries on topics such as restorative justice, diversion programs, and the school to prison pipeline for use in manuals and other documents.I assist with grant writing by editing proposals. I attended the Proposal Budgeting Basics Workshop hosted by the Foundation Center in DC.I assist with fundraising efforts by contacting local business to donate items for ACCESS Youth’s annual soirée.
