  Research Assistant

  The research was conducted to identify a cheap and abundant adsorbent for the pollution of nickel, cadmium, and copper in industrial wastewater. The effectiveness of raw schist and a bio-geopolymer based on schist and alginate has been investigated. For this purpose, XRD, XRF, FT-IR, and BET analyses were initially used for identification. Further, adsorption isotherm and kinetic studies have also been investigated to identify the adsorption mechanism.

  I am currently engaged in a research project as a Research Assistant, focusing on the thermal degradation of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances. As a teaching assistant, I had the opportunity to contribute to an undergraduate Environment course. My responsibilities included explaining and instructing students on experimental procedures and their purpose, as well as assessing and grading their reports.
