  ABOUT YOUTHLACIGF It is the Youth Internet Governance Forum for Latin America and the Caribbean, created in 2016 as an initiative of young people interested in Internet-related issues in our region.Our annual event, carried out by non-profit civil society organizations and youth from Latin America and the Caribbean, fosters dialogue, empowerment and cooperation among the youth of our region, based on the themes and ecosystem of the internet governance.Throughout these years, YouthLACIGF has managed to enable the exchange of experiences, ideas and establish a network of contacts between youth and the GRULAC community. Our forum has been a space for deep discussion and also welcoming to those who are new to the community, always with a linear perspective.Internet governance is a multi-stakeholder and multi-disciplinary approach to addressing issues related to the management, administration and use of the Internet.   SOUTH SCHOOL ON INTERNET GOVERNANCE 2023The 15th consecutive edition of the South School on Internet Governance will be held as a face-to-face / hybrid event and consists of the following activities:SSIG 2023 training includes:1. A preparatory virtual self-attended course consisting of podcasts, videos and reading material, to be taken by the scholarship holder between July 03, 2023 and ends August 25, 2023.2. One week of hybrid training, from September 11 to September 15, 2023.3. A research stage to access a University Diploma on Internet Governance and Regulation, to be carried out during the months of October and November 2023.   Étant cadre de la firme PHARGEO CONSULTING & SERVICE, j'ai intervenu en tant qu'Assistant de Chef de Mission pour l'étude consistant en l'Évaluation Environnementale et Sociale pour le projet "Solisyon Avni Miyò" promu par l'organisation CONCERN WORLDWIDE.L’objectif de l’évaluation est de diagnostiquer le programme Solisyon Avni Miyo (SAM), en vue d’élaboration d’un Plan de Gestion Environnementale et Sociale (PGES), d’un Plan d’Atténuation et de Suivi Environnemental. De manière spécifique, l’étude consiste à :- Avoir une idée claire des changements liés aux défis climatiques qui affectent les zones de mise en œuvre et d’identifier et analyser des alternatives possibles au programme proposé.- Proposer des mesures d'atténuation des impacts social et environnemental négatifs (incluant laréinstallation des ménages affectés) efficaces et à des coûts acceptables et des mesures de bonificationdes impacts positifs à mettre en œuvre pendant et après la mise en œuvre du programme proposé- Vérifier la conformité avec la législation nationale- Préparer des données de référence pour le suivi et l'évaluation et proposer des outils standards internes de gestion :- Mesurer requises pour prévenir, minimiser, atténuer ou compenser les impacts environnementaux etsociaux négatifs ou pour accroître les impacts positifs. This platform aspires to build a global community that provides a safe, flexible and inclusive space to co-learn, co-design and co-implement projects, initiatives and programmes related to UNESCO's field of competencies. GYC is the first youth-led global umbrella platform for youth to change the world through mission-driving impactful research, initiative and projects.
