      Anne Weber was a 2013-2015 corps member on Oahu for Teach for America. She teaches all-subject general education at a Title I school on the Leeward coast. Last year, 2/3 of her students met year end math fluency and reading fluency goals in the first semester. She also had the highest gains in state testing on her grade level of 6 other 3rd grade classes. As a Teach for America alum she served on the Kama'aina Diversity Recruitment Team, and as a member of the Native Alliance Initiative Advisory Board attending Summits in South Dakota and New Mexico to further their mission for Native students. She is still affiliated with Teach for America as a member of the Native Advisory Council and as a participant in the Alumni Capstone research project.
