  My Job responsibilities were as follows.- Inspecting and verifying customer supplied products / purchased products in line with quality.- Ultrasonic examination of weld joints in under carriage, counterweight boom part, rotor & stator for wind mills.- Carried out Magnetic Particle Inspection on socket weld, fillet weld and inspection on machined components, Hook & welded joints in spreader bar for lifting equipments by using different methods like fluorescent method, wet method, dry method using Yoke and Prod methods.- Carried out ultrasonic examination of structural and beams weld joints such as partial and full penetration joints.- Hardness Testing on weldments of Pipeline and Structures.- Inspection for welding of shop fabricated piping spools of support structural welding like hanging lug welds, reinforcement pad welds etc.- Carried out dye penetrant inspection on fillet weld and inspection on machined components by using different methods like fluorescent method, visible color contrast method.- Lamination checking on incoming raw materials and machined forging shafts.- Preparation of documents and reports for inspection. Show less My Job responsibilities were as follows.- Performing receiving inspection of Structure, Piping materials and Vendor supplied products such as Flow meters, Pressure transmitters, Temperature transmitters, Gas Analyzers, Sampling systems, various type of valves with respect to the relevant Material specification and standards, approved Product data sheets and project specifications.- Carrying out Fit up inspection, Weld visual inspection and Dimensional check for skid structure and pipelines in accordance with fabrication drawings and code requirements.- Verifying internal diameter and surface roughness of honed / sweep blasted meter tube pipes prior to fabrication at vendor premises.- Performing dimensional check at the stage of post fabrication of meter tube pipe spools using ID Micrometer & Surface roughness tester as per Metering codes and standards such as AGA 3 / AGA 9 / ISO 5167 - 2 / API MPMS.- Performing line check of the fabricated pipe spools as per Isometric, P&ID and GA drawings and witnessing hydro test with client / TPI inspectors and reviewing hydro test package documents, NDE records and Radiographic films in line with code and project requirements.- Carrying out blasting inspection on blasted surfaces of structure, piping components, valves, instruments and prover pipe internals to verify the required surface preparation level with additional quality check for environmental conditions, surface profile, cleanliness, salt level as per international codes and standards and project requirements.- Carrying out inspection on Prover internal and external coating and painted surfaces of skid structure and piping components to verify the DFT measurements and holiday free coating is achieved as per project requirements.- Performing line check after complete assembly of the skid with reference to approved P&ID, GA and other approved fabrication drawings and prepare internal punch list for the outstanding works to be followed up prior to client FAT.
