SSR Fulfilment Engineer fully qualified and knowledgeable in two different accounts for the numerous different tasks and skills required to fulfil the incoming tasks.Experience and Skills from common daily tasks;- Basic UNIX for creation of accounts and administration. - Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Support for Provisioning, De-provisioning and Modifying virtual machines. - Citrix XenApp and Workstations.- Utilizing numerous applications for account administration and creation. - Sharepoint Online Administration - Excel Utilization for providing data and as tools to colleagues. - Customer Support- Queue Management- Remote Connection support and installations Show less Continued Support on the Rolls Royce account doing what is previously described in my last experience. At this point I am no longer an apprentice but a fully qualified engineer within my role. On top of what I previously supported I also, during this time began to take on the Virtual Desktop support, although it didn't sit within my space we agreed to take this on to assist another team. This entailed provisioning independent machines and de-provisioning of machines when requested. I also supported the Supply Chain VDI's. Show less Rolls Royce Account - After spending some time on the PoCA account I then got moved over to the Rolls Royce account to work on, on this account I was able to pickup supporting quite a few different applications on the Standard Service Request side of the account. At first we started with QMing all the work out to engineers to get a feel of the new space we worked in, slowly picking up the admin based tasks for the users such as resetting passwords, then shortly after picking up how to create new accounts, modify accounts, delete accounts etc... for Teamcenter/PLM. After a month or so from getting used to the admin work for this applications account, I then began to upskill in the numerous other applications which sat in the Standard Service Request space, utilizing UNIX to support some of these applications. Majority of this work was setting up users within these applications or enabling a users machine to work with an application, granting them access via their requested application.Applications Supported;PLM/TeamcenterOptegra(UNIX) PDM/Metaphase TDI LifewebCustomer Hub for Hitachi SFDM Show less I first started working with DXC.Technology under the apprenticeship scheme to give me the basic knowledge and skills to get my career started within the IT Industry. Within this 2 year apprenticeship I have been able to pick up a variety of skills and knowledge which has helped me understand the industry more, as well as plenty of experience in different accounts and areas of the company. This first entry is for the first account I worked on which is for the Post Office Card Account which can be seen below for details regarding what work I did on this account. Post Office Card Account - My first account was based on the PoCA Account, within this position I got a good idea of how the accounts work as well as how to work with other teams using the vast array of different communications we have available to us today. My main responsibilities on this account was to help do the house keeping and admin work, this included tasks such as keeping our statistics up to date and on track with the daily information provided as well as looking out for any errors within the spreadsheet used to determine if something doesn't add up quite right, if it doesn't we would then need to investigate as to why this was and report back to other teams. Other tasks included basic Queue Management and assigning the work out to various different engineers who're responsible for certain tasks, and also attending the daily meetings as expected.
