Throughout my career I have engaged with young people through the following initiatives and training;Managing young people on a Tall Ship event following a period of social unrest.Young Safe Driver awareness training.Providing careers advice for police and external occupations.Leadership, Team Building and Problem Solving.Supporting after school activities, art projects in socially deprived areas, astronomy and music clubs.First aid training.Mentoring and guidance for schools with students linked to crime or anti-social behaviour.Support and advice to young people in long term unemployment.Young offenders, reparation and restorative justice through volunteering.Over the last five years I have gained experience in working with the following partners and charitable groups;National Volunteer Police Cadets, I am a consultant to this organisation and have helped to establish cadet schemes across the UK.Whickham Hermitage Community Garden, between 2012 and 2015 I worked with a group of cadets to re-build a waterfall in the community garden.
