Show less The department of Cyber Security Research and Innovation at Deakin University allocated a research grant in order to explore insider attacks on Zigbee devices. In the research, the security vulnerabilities pertinent to Zigbee devices were studied and it was analyzed that Zigbee devices were susceptible to attacks by Remote AT commands. These AT commands had been greatly under used to exploit Zigbee devices in the past literature.As part of the research, a network was formulated compromising of Zigbee devices; By using Remote AT commands in that Zigbee based network i devised three successful insider attacks to make unauthorized changes in the Zigbee destination address, the Zigbee node ID and the PAN ID.After obtaining the results, a research paper was submitted to the ATIS conference which has been accepted.
