  With society now heavily invested in computer systems and internet connectivity it has never been more vital to explore interventions that can help secure cyberspace. Around 24,000 security incidents are reported each year with roughly 82% of successful attacks believed to be as a result of human error. For Airbus, an understanding of why humans may be vulnerable to cyber attacks and what can be done to better support them is key to our business. The proposed internship will look into problems currently faced in relation to the human in cyberspace, focused particularly on (i) exploration into its key concerns (ii) research deployment and analysis, and (iii) interdisciplinary support.
