  I was promoted to the position of Account Manager after showing excellent customer service skills and knowledge of basic 401(k) industry topics. As the Account Manager, I was responsible for the day to day management of over 100 plans and $500 million in plan assets while focusing on plan growth and retention. I worked with both institutional partners and their clients to build relationships that fostered administrative efficiencies and prioritize critical issues. I transitioned into this role seeking a position that provided greater challenges and a less mundane daily routine. The Account Coordinator role is a support role to the account managers. In this role, I assisted the account managers in the more common processes relating to the Retirement Plan. The role also assisted with large projects and ad-hoc reporting to the management team. This is a client-facing role where I began to develop my customer service skills.
