      Starting out as a 3rd vet in a 2man practice of Dr. W.Duane Kennedy and W. Scott Rowe, we grew geometrically(actually way too fast!!) , first adding the Drs Sammons, Lynn & Lenora, then Dr. Kent Lieby in 1978 and moving into our much needed new facility,13,000 square feet at 5707 Leesport Ave.Reading, Pa. All 3 vets were classmates of mine at Cornell, each bringing their own unique abilities, style of practice and personality to our rapidly growing group of Cornell Vets( being the largest # of Cornell grads in a single practice outside of NYS!! We kept needing more veterinary help(with the support & tech staff), that by1988 we numbered 15 veterinarians and over 30 full and part time techs, lab, secretarial and janitorial staff. We were operating24/7/365. With my growing family, operating/ comanaging our functional dairy heifer replacement/leasing operation with my wife Linda, I sold my interest/partnership shares and became an emeritus employee!
