  Primary duty is the upkeep of all Demarcated Spatial Data for KF, especially the Cadastral Dataset. This also includes:The acquiring of spatial data from various sources including the Chief Surveyor General’s office, The National Demarcation Board, the IEC, Various Municipalities and other data custodians.Capturing of incomplete data areas from surveyor diagrams.Capturing and verification of point of interest data via imagery or L/L Coordinates.The sourcing of supplementary datasets to the existing Spatial Datasets.The verifying of the sourced spatial data, and the cleaning of the data to KF standards. The assimilating of the spatial data into the existing Spatial Datasets as used by KF. (approx 8 mil entities)The verifying of all existing Spatial Datasets to be as updated as to the latest available data.The upkeep and adaptation of the different structures of the Spatial Datasets as required.The preparation of the Spatial Datasets for publishing for use by the different KF products and KF Clients.
