Approve hydro testing, verify all NDE was completed per client specifications, weld and flange map, inspect flanges, make up and verify torqueing was done correctly throughout units, verify flow direction on piping systems.

  • Responsible for expediting the installation and commissioning of steel structures, refractory lining and rotating equipments for industrial heavy duty furnaces.• Assisted the Project Manager to establish the overall project management plans about Safety / Quality / Work schedule/ Delivery / Environment / etc.; to monitor time & cost control schedule which resulted in increase in efficiency• Reviewed and checked shop drawings and piping instrumentation diagrams before issuing for installation.• Managed any upcoming problem that arises during the project execution and document it appropriately.• Cost estimates, quotations and budgetary control• Continuous demonstrable improvements to simplify, standardise and value-engineer the company's technical solutions in order to reduce variation, manufacturing timescales and costs• Lead design review meetings for both customers and the design team• Liaising with sub-contractors for fabrication and machining, selection of mechanical bought in parts along with providing technical guidance and support to the System Build and Controls Teams.• During commissioning, operates the furnace to check its level of performance and also to set furnace controls to regulate temperatures and heating time.• Alignment of rotating equipments such as heavy duty re -circulation fans, cooling blowers and exhaust blowers.• Managing the erection and commissioning of a wide range of Refractory & Furnace Accessories• Make sure the work environment meets the safety standard and to limit the number of incidents /accidents to zero level.
