  Work experience (Coaching assistant)

  I worked for a week on a residential course doing work experience. During the day I was a netball coaching assistant for children aged 7-13 helping and coaching individuals of different ability levels (from beginner to club player). In the mornings and evenings I spent my time looking after and providing entertainment for the children in the boarding house. A crucial part of this was ensuring everyone was having fun and comforting those that felt homesick.

  Marine Ecology Research Centre

  Work experience (Marine conservation)

  I spent 2 days working along side marine ecologists on a sea grass plantation project aiming to enhance the biodiversity. However, during this period I learnt of the structural complications leading to much of the plantation by the ecologists over the past year being wash away and damaged by natural factors.

  Porter

  I worked as a porter at the wine bar in the evenings over my Christmas holidays. It was a fast paced job with a great atmosphere surrounding working busy shifts in the lead up to Christmas and New Years Eve.

  An Investment Banking experience through role-plays, seminars, stimulations and Q&A sessions led by industry experts. Using the experience I learnt about debt and equity, roles on the trading floor and Mergers and Acquisitions.

  I worked night shifts from 7pm - 5:30am during the first COVID-19 national lockdown. I worked in the stow department stacking shelves with a very large variety of items each evening. Generally I moved between 2-3 locations within the warehouse nightly and worked hard to reach my targets, working full pace for 9.5 hours with two 30 minute breaks during the course of the night.

  I worked at Twelve All Saints during my summer holidays. I was trained up in cocktail making under several members of staff. My regular duties included cocktail making, serving and welcoming customers; preparation of garnishes, restocking and cleaning tasks.
