  ORAS is the largest party in the Central Student Council of the TU Delft and settles in the council for over 40 years. In 2016 - 2017 ORAS was elected for 7 seats in the Central Student Council. Internally I was elected as vice chairman of the party ORAS. As vice chairman I was responsible for the group dynamics of my faction and support of the chairman.

  The Central Student Council of the TU Delft (CSC) is the legal partner of the Executive Board and represents the interests of all 22.000 students. The CSC advises the Executive Board on decisions that need to be taken. These include decisions regarding student support and guidance, student regulations and requirements, workspaces and other student facilities. The CSC has the right of approval on a number of issues; i.e. any plans that TU Delft wishes to introduce in relation to these matters must first be approved by the CSC. Each month, the CSC meets with the Executive Board’s Vice President for Education and Organisation in an open meeting.As vice chairman, I created pleasant group dynamics to achieve the highest levels of productivity.   Consultant bij CUBE-fUS, een interdisciplinaire onderzoeksgroep van het Erasmus MC waarin neuroscience, ultrasound engineering en computer engineering gecombineerd wordt in het onderzoek naar en ontwikkeling van een systeem om functional ultrasound te gebruiken voor het real-time in kaart brengen van de hersenen.CUBE heeft in oktober 2018 een NWO-groot subsidie ontvangen voor hun onderzoek. Sindsdien zijn ze snel gegroeid. Als consultant heb ik de onderzoekers geholpen met het structureren van het interdisciplinaire project. Daarnaast heb ik methoden geïntroduceerd om overzicht te behouden terwijl fundamenteel onderzoek mogelijk blijft. Show less

  Porthos is developing a project to transport CO₂ from industry in the Port of Rotterdam and store this in empty gas fields beneath the North Sea. The supplied carbon dioxide can contain impurities that could cause severe corrosion damage to transport pipes. Not only do these impurities affect liquid formation, but certain component combinations can amplify the overall corrosive effects. As unforeseen corrosion damage to the transport pipes may have detrimental financial consequences, it is essential to correctly determine liquid presence for the supplied mixtures. To estimate how long liquids are present for different compositions and operating conditions, I developed a model to calculate evaporation rates under forced convection and implemented this model in Python. This resulted in a tool with a user-friendly interface that can be run via the users' browser. Users can input properties of any composition and desired operating conditions, and the resulting data can be viewed and exported. Show less
