    • Best Buy

      Sept 2009 - May 2010
      Sales Specialist

At Best Buy I employed and honed my public-speaking, technical and research skills in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment. Part of that involved researching and remaining fluent in not only the products sold, but the technology driving those products in order to ensure that the customer is as informed as they can possibly of the what they want or is looking for. I found that by engaging customers confidently and skillfully navigating any concerns or issue they have in seeking what they needed, I could maximize the customer's comfort level in spending their money on that product. If a customer feels comfortable, even joyful about the purchase they've made, customer loyalty increases. That is how I consistently met and exceeded budget quotas and expanded the customer base in my time as a salesman at store #1785. Show less
