  The Mall of Shekhawati is a unique blend of a commercial establishment specializing in antiques from the northeast region of Rajasthan and a 'museum of everyday life'. Its purpose is to promote the Cultural Heritage and Folklore of Shekhawati, often referred to as the "Painted Wonderland of India." Additionally, the initiative aims to create a marketplace for handcrafted goods made by the residents of Ramgarh and neighboring villages while providing employment opportunities for skilled and unskilled individuals.As a co-founder, my role is rather diverse:• I am responsible for establishing and maintaining the mall's brand, promoting it locally and beyond, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.• I conduct thorough investigations into the history of antique objects by researching and interviewing local residents and experts. The valuable insights gathered are used to strategically curate and display museum exhibits.• I oversee the management of all creative assets involved in the project, such as artifacts, environmental design, and digital assets.• My mission also involves empowering local women by teaching them skills like embroidery, handicrafts, and wood carving. I believe these skills not only provide financial empowerment but also help preserve cultural heritage in rural communities. Show less
