I was selected to work on PowerSat as a part of Cal Poly’s Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) under advisor Dr. Pauline Faure. Our project is titled “Creation of Open-Source Flight Software Components for Small Spacecraft Programs”. I am focusing on writing ADCS and C&DH components of the concept of operations for the mission. Responsible for developing a concept of operations for the PowerSat project in the Cal Poly ETOILES lab. PowerSat is a CubeSat mission that aims to demonstrate a technology to tackle climate change through deployment of a solar array for solar power generation, slated for launch in 2024.Note: Due to faculty leaving, ETOILES ceased to exist in September 2022 and I was unable to continue my work on PowerSat.
