  Working under the Principal Investigators: Patricia Dykes, PhD, MA, RN and Nancy Latham, PhD, PT on the study/project called eSTEPS (electronic Strategies for Tailored Exercise to Prevent FallS). eSTEPS is a pragmatic cluster randomized clinical trial to improve uptake of fall prevention exercise prescriptions in primary care practices. Goals include piloting eSTEPS in urban and rural primary care clinics at Brigham Health and The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) to determine the effectiveness, safety, and acceptability of the eSTEPS intervention in improving appropriate referrals exercise programs, exercise participation but older people, and fall frequency compared to usual care Responsibilities:• Participate/Site recruitment, communications with app development vendor• Perform literature database searches and retrieve journal articles from the internet/library • Administrative tasks include scheduling conference meetings, preparing agenda lists and pre-meeting materials • Coordinate, organize and take minutes for core team meetings • Data collection, cleaning, and analysis using MS, REDCap, R, and Excel • Contribute to the preparation of research reports and manuscripts for publication in professional journals• Assist with preparation of Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation and forms for study protocol approvals and amendments Spearhead grant writing initiatives for future funding Show less
