      OVERVIEW:I was recruited by the CVSA Executive Committee to transform its operations and introduce new process efficiencies across the entire organization.ROLES:* Provide senior leadership and direction to the association.* Develop and deliver programs and services, work with partners to define and implement improvements, and promote international regulatory harmonization and reciprocity.* Oversee Finance, Human Resources, Administrative Operations, and Meetings/Events.* Coordinate policy development and government affairs activities, monitor regulatory and legislative activities, and coordinate regulatory, policy, and legislative positions.KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:** Repositioned the Alliance as a highly-efficient growth organization with a clearly outlined strategic roadmap, detailed financial analysis, streamlined processes, optimized resource usage, with Operating Reserves and Building Fund approaching $2M, up from $1M 4 years prior. Influx in savings is directly attributed to above changes in operational efficiencies and have saved significantly more money. ** Authored a number of petitions for rulemaking resulting in a number of regulatory enhancements (includes an expansion of the commercial motor vehicle definition that expanded the scope of the regulation. Definition of the regulation leveled the playing field within the regulated transportation industry and had an impact on enforcement resources where we are now avoiding conflict at roadside with regulatory interpretations.
