      Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills: - Applied practical knowledge of laws, concepts, law enforcement methods and techniques. - Lead, managed, supervised, and performed Security Force activities including: installation, weapon system, and resource security; antiterrorism; law enforcement and investigations; air base defense; armament and equipment; training; pass and registration; information security; and quality control inspections. - Maintained order and discipline within area of command; protection of personnel and assets (protection level 3 resources).- Enforced laws and regulations of the United States Code (USC), Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), and state laws; required to report, correct, apprehend, or detain as necessary.- Conducted community policing and public relations within the jurisdictions of base housing and worked with local law enforcement. - Operated in various field environments, performed individual and team patrol movements (mounted and dismounted), tactical drills, battle procedures, convoys, armed response and entry control, and military operations other than war. - Provided on-scene supervision for Security Forces; inspected and evaluated effectiveness of Security Forces personnel and activities; ensured proficiency training and certification standards were maintained.- Conducted background checks for law enforcement and entry control purposes according to regulations of the installation. Verified information and identity using the Virginia Criminal Information Network (VCIN) and National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS).- Provided initial investigations to major and minor vehicle accidents, domestic disturbances, theft, alcohol and/or drug related incidents. - Responded to medical emergencies, fire and building evacuation, alarm activations, and traffic violations. - Performed searches and seizures; evidence collection, protection, and recording using proper chain of custody.
