  Site engineer on the M60 (Manchester Outer Ring Road) Phase 3 and BNRR (Birmingham Northern Relief Road) responsible for production, cost, quality, health and safety. Over the course of the M60 project, he was responsible for site engineering of the over-bridge construction, mainline drainage, site-wide carriageway reinforced soil retaining walls, concrete slip-lined surface water channels, and ultimately pavements.

  Resident Engineer responsible for supervision of construction of an advanced early civil works contract at the Algeciras casting basin supporting the Isola Di Porto Levante LNG Terminal project (was ALT Project). Prior to this role, prepared for the design of site infrastructure and advanced works for a 7.7ha plan area casting basin to support construction of the 88m x 180m (95,000 m3 concrete) Gravity Base Structure (GBS) for the Isola Di Porto Levante LNG Terminal, prepared drawings and specifications, provided input to contracting strategies, and prepared procurement documents including scope of works, bill of quantities and cost estimate.Casting basin design included primary site infrastructure to provide incoming services (water, electric and telecommunications) to the existing site and secondary site infrastructure for internal site services distribution. Nicholas is the Project Manager for the Rock Bay Remediation Project supporting BC Hydro's remediation of this legacy site. He is the facilitator of successful project delivery ensuring that this regionally significant project is being completed on time, within budget, and according to the requirements.
