  I was part of a team that supported the elevation of two teaching methods, Op Nieuw Niveau (Dutch) and New Interface (English), for the learning levels HAVO/VWO and VMBO Basis, Kader, Gemengd and Theorie, to a digital platform (Nextin). This was part of ThiemeMeulenhoff's personalised learning strategy. My duties included reproducing exercises and theory in various digital editors, during which I paid meticulous attention to errors in spelling, grammar and punctuation; the maintaining of continuity in the layout of these texts; and finding solutions for the various errors and difficulties we encountered during the transition of the exercises from a book to a digital environment.   As an intern at Parthian Books my duties were wide-ranging and diverse. I created reading reports for new manuscripts that had been sent to us by post; I wrote blog posts for the website and newsletters for the mailing list; I created promotional flyers and booklets in InDesign and Photoshop; I proofread and copy edited several manuscripts; I visited several literary festivals to represent Parthian Books; and I assisted with the marketing and book launch of a new book.

  On a biweekly basis, I wrote cultural criticism for the Dutch feminist webzine Vileine.com. I mostly wrote about the female gaze and intersectionality in film, TV and literature, feminist art, and 'girl gangs' in history and popular culture.

  As a public service employee, my duties were diverse: I did everything from administrative tasks, such as answering the phone, handling reservations and ticket checks, to welcoming visitors and guiding their experiences in and around the museum, as well as operating the museum's various attractions and ensuring visitors' safety and enjoyment. I greatly enjoyed being able to enhance our (young) visitors' experiences in the museum and working at an institution with such fascinating heritage.
