I am excited about my current position at Oberoi International school. It is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with the IB coordinators across programmes and across campuses. In this role, I have been a part of the steering core committee to lead CIS/ NEAS cross-campus visit. I have also chaired the IB continuum visit for the OGC campus. One of the key projects I am passionate about is developing the Learning Hub for the OIS learning community for Professional Learning. As a deputy head of primary school at OIS, I was a part of the shared leadership model. With the primary pedagogical leadership team, I had an opportunity to present our model at the IB global conference (Hong Kong 2019) and the EARCOS conference(Kota Kinabalu 2019). Mentoring, administration and organisation, running professional development sessions for new and existing faculty and being a part of the pedagogical leadership team devising and implementing policies and structures. In the role of the PYP Coordinator, I was involved in two evaluation visits. I worked closely with teachers mentoring and modelling good teaching practice. Planned and facilitated several parent workshops and conducted admission for new parents. Overseeing the programme's implementation, facilitating curriculum planning and evaluating the programme of inquiry, facilitating teacher and parent training and communication, and liaison with the IB were some of my key responsibilities. During this tenure, I assisted the PYP coordinator in implementing the IB PYP programme standards and practices and helped with the programme's documentation. As a Homeroom Teacher, I facilitated an inquiry-based environment to create an enthusiastic classroom environment. Evaluating and communicating student progress and liaising with parents to discuss individual student needs.
