Interdisciplinary research, involving the development of a route to a range of carbamazepine analogues. The new analogues were then dosed into liver cells to study the effect of those changes on the metabolism of the drug.  Organic work involved both process-development and optimisation, milligram to multi-gram scale-ups and a variety of purification techniques Proven track record of communicating work to broader scientific community  Extensive knowledge of halogen chemistry Synthesis under inert atmosphere conditions Multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, 14N,19F)  chromatography method development at a range of scales both automated and manual Detailed and accurate record keeping Show less
