As well as mentoring senior level engineers to help improve the overall reliability of our infrastructure.Results: After the company decided to go to the Azure cloud, implemented the CI/CD process using a mixture of Azure piepelines and Jenkins piepelines connecting via the PowerShell Api to support our cloud hybrid framework.Mentored DevOps members so that they could continue the maintenance and transition to Azure.Created a web application based on Net Core 5 and Angular 11 to serve as an interface with with azure SDK for the most common tasks to simplify usability while gaining more granular access control. Designed and built (yes, I did the code from scratch) a self service portal to manage over 700 VMs which integrates with vRealize, vSphere, Powershell, Jenkins and other technologies which in combination with the re-engineering of the entire CI/CD process was estimated, by upper management, to save over 24,000 men hours per year.2. Re designed/engineered the QA process to enable the teams to run our automated regression suites more frequently. It went from a full run in 48 hours to about 2 hours which enabled us to run automated regression a few times a day, instead of the old once a week.Team results: The teams assigned to me were able to double their speed, and as described by my superiors, went out of their comfort zones to bring more innovation and better overall performance for the teams.
