      During the summer of 2015, I undertook a temporary receptionist role for the Dove Partnership. This involved travelling to new businesses and covering the reception whilst members of staff took paid leave.Through the temporary work I have completed during my summer vacations, I have gained the skill to go into an unfamiliar work environment and adapt quickly to the challenges I have faced.       In my final year at University I was a member of Loughborough Students' Union's Union Affairs Committee. This role included:• Developing the Student’s Union on policy and issues surrounding governance and elections.• Sitting on the elections sub-committee, which involved working across the Union to ensure the fair elections of students to positions of responsibility. My role involves developing and providing Consent Workshops at Loughborough Students' Union. The role also includes raising awareness through campaigns about the issues surrounding consent. This role included:• Creation and delivery of Consent Workshops and First Responder Workshops designed for students.• Running of the University’s second annual ‘Consent Week’. This role focused around promoting gender equality within Loughborough University, and also around raising awareness of issues that women faced. As part of the role I chaired the Loughborough Women's Network and led a committee of ten other students.As part of this role I managed the Student’s Union’s ‘International Women’s Week’, and created the University’s and Students' Union's first annual ‘Consent Week’.
