      I taught a second level human factors course in the Industrial Engineering Department at Clemson University. I am a human factors teaching assistant in the industrial engineering department. Currently, I am the lead teaching assistant for senior design. I am the team leader on a research project to develop general competencies for the manufacturing industry in South Carolina. This includes delegating research tasks, reviewing and summarizing articles, and ensuring tasks are completed on time. My duties also involve creating the competencies survey for manufacturing businesses in the state and utilizing the results to determine what skills deficiencies to address. I work alongside the course Professor creating assignments and exams based on the course text as well as recommending supplemental activities for the students. I also answer any questions the students may have and provide guidance on homework assignments.

      I serve as the executive director and president of a Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) education nonprofit, Marie's Kids, I founded earlier this year. The mission of the organization is to introduce underprivileged students in primary school to STEAM through interactions with their social and natural environment and provide pathways for their continued educational and personal development.
