      • I’m Me (Chicken House) 2011I wrote this story for my niece, Imogen and originally it was part of an exhibition of student illustrators/professional writers that was staged by Faber at the London College of Communication and Design as part of London Design Week 2007. Chicken House picked up the story and had it reillustrated and now it's on sale worldwide including publication by Scholastic in the US and a Korean edition that I can't read!

    • Urban Reivers

      Jul 2015 - Jun 2020
      Founder

I founded Urban Reivers in an old garage on the mews lane that runs behind my flat. We launched in August 2016 - with the site going live on 1 August and a 4 week pop up on George Street during the festival fringe. The company has two ranges - bide accessories and swally cocktails. We have fostered several creative collaborations and are dedicated to challenging Scotland's cultural cringe. Artefacts are a big part of the historical research I delve into when I'm writing so Urban Reivers, in a way, is me making my own connection to history - WWII heroes (silk scarves based on MI9 escape maps) and the long and proud history of Scottish distilling all feature.
