  Shadowed Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Atul Peters and Emergency specialist Dr. Sandeep Jain

  Worked closely with a multidisciplinary team in the Emergency department and learned how to record vitals, perform CPR, understood the process of triages, the underlying theory of important medical techniques including X-ray, ECG etc. My 4 week shadowing experience with Dr. Atul N.C Peters enabled the application of my metabolic understanding to the operation theatre. The use of robotics in surgery led to a deeper analysis of the physiology underlying disease and gave me an anatomical insight during versatile procedures including cholecystectomies, hepatic jejunostomy and inguinal hernia surgeries.
