  I am an experienced audit supervisor of governmental entities. I have supervised, coached, mentored, and trained numerous professional audit staff. I have managed a training program and performed quality assurance reviews to improved audits. I have advanced knowledge of analytical tools like Microsoft Excel and Access.I started at an entry level and was subsequently promoted to the senior level in 2006 and supervisor level in 2010.I have overseen over thirty financial statement, information technology, and federal compliance audits of state agencies and funds consisting of teams of eight or less team members. These audits include the State Investment Fund, the Injured Patients and Families Compensation Fund, the Wisconsin Lottery, State Fair Park, and the departments of Administration, Employee Trust Funds, Revenue, and Health Services.I have supervised, coached, mentored, and trained numerous professional audit staff on a variety of audit and information technology related topics, such as analytical tools, advanced Microsoft Excel functions, general information technology control, and electronic work papers.I have guided a portion of the post system implementation review of a State-wide enterprise resource system.I have improved audits by completing quality assurance reviews both internally and as part of the National State Auditors Association Peer Review program.I have reviewed and implemented auditing standards, such as the risk assessment and clarity standards, and Government Accounting Standards Board pronouncements, like the recent pension standards.I have recruited for the Bureau at three university campuses.
