      A Primary responsibility for ensuring a prompt response to all Refinery and Jetty emergencies, act safely and effectively to minimize casualties and damage to property.Rescue any persons trapped or injured, and if necessary direct and administer first response emergency care to ensure all casualties receive the appropriate remedial action in the soonest possible time.Carry out safety Induction training to new starts and contract staff, to ensure that all persons starting work on site are aware of the safety requirements, fire regulations and site emergency procedures.Assist in ongoing training to relevant employees and contractor personnel as well as our own training to ensure confidence in the use of the complex Fire Fighting Equipment and associated procedures on the Refinery and Jetty.Inspect, maintain and record the condition of all Refinery and Jetty Fire and Emergency equipment, and if possible make recommendations on any upgrading or improvements, to make certain that all equipment is maintained in a state of readiness.Collate, store, and maintain accurate records of: - Breathing apparatus - Building fire alarms- Fire hydrants - Fire hydrant isolating valves- Mobile and fixed monitors - Hose boxes and equipment- Harnesses and lines - Equipment loan book and any other related or appropriate records.
