      - I opened the new department last year which finished +30% on target and is set to finish +20% vs. last year for 2015. The department boosts luxurious brands such as Givenchy, Balmain, Lanvin, Moncler and Balenciaga to which attracts a magnificent portfolio of clientele contributing to the success of our business.- I coach and manage a new team of 16 people developing their skills and setting standards to meet the expectations that Harrods requires. I mentor the team to come up with new ideas and projects giving them the creativity and motivation to implement in the department. I have mentored the team in key account management, international customers, and guest shopping criteria.-I drive the Harrods rewards programme by ensuring the CRM data is available to staff and that customers are being contacted about new season and exclusive products.- I manage all negative stock by creating a brand audit folder which keeps track of stock integrity, making our percentage one of the best in menswear with 85%. This means stock takes and profit and loss are always monitored and kept below the company average.- I have managed 16 sale set-ups and 16 stock takes, which I now train and develop staff to do as part of their personal development plans. - I am the ambassador of a KPI Fexco Project; Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) for the menswear division; giving international customers a choice to pay in their home currencies. - I conduct daily morning and afternoon briefs by providing key information to the team i.e. Setting department and individual sales targets, customer service scores and a key performance indicator on the department as a collective, highlighting excellence. I drive sales on the shop floor on a daily basis and coach the team on how to keep excellent standards.- I maintain great performance by providing monthly reviews with the team and rewarding successful completion of the KPI's needed to exceed the departments and individuals average scores. Show less • I moved to menswear after being headhunted by the menswear management, post completing the Harrods degree.• I coached and mentored the new intake of the Harrods Degree students, giving them advice and ideas on how to manage full time education as well as working full time. Also mentoring them with presentation techniques and project ideas that will increase sales within their departments.• I managed a team of 50 people and worked with brands such as Burberry, Hugo Boss, Moncler, Just Cavalli, ZZegna, Zegna Sports, Paul Smith and many more. I managed the rotas and holidays and conducted annual reviews and appraisals for all 50 staff members. I completed the Harrods Winter sale in 45 minutes which was a department record considering the large scale of the room.• I contributed to the success of the department by leaving +10% up on last years figures as I moved to the new room to help with the opening of Men’s International Gallery. Show less • I started my career in the sports division after graduating from my first degree of Business and Psychology. I was the top sales person for many years and as a result I was nominated to study the Harrods Degree in Sales. After 2 years of working in Harrods I was promoted to department supervisor of the 2 rooms, Designer Sports and Urban Sports.• Whilst on the degree I was mentored by 10 directors which we pitched 15 project ideas to over the course of 2 years. The project ideas were to be implemented and put into practice on the shop-floor which was then quantitatively assessed to increase sales within my department, division and store. This gave me exposure to all aspects of the retail environment and made me global store-wide. Being mentored by 10 directors gave me an insight and great knowledge on a business level that no other business can provide.• I helped open shop-fits such as: EA7, LaMartina, Hackett, Polo Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss (green label). On a bigger scale Urban Sports was redesigned previously known as the golf room. I helped with the business plan and pitched the ideas to the General Merchandising Manager (GMM) as I was working on an innovation project at the time with the sales degree. The redevelopment was projected to increase sales by 2 million within the first year, which was exceeded by 20%. Show less
