      Oct 2019 - Feb 2022
      Showroom Manager

Acting within a small team, individual versatility was key to the smooth operation and success of the store. Effective demonstration of this earned a promotion to replace retired staff, shown by running the store alone, managing incoming stock, and arranging customer deliveries for all orders after the first month. My position grew to consist of the following notable roles: entry-level accountancy, staff management, recruitment, sales, stockroom control and ordering, customer complaints representative, compiling the delivery schedule, and updating business operations towards a paperless format. Operational improvements overseen include implementation of sales goals, milestones, and performance-based metrics for all staff, whilst maintaining a friendly working environment. This success in-store saw us take over a premises triple the size, jointly coordinated by the owner and me. This brought huge challenges in operational expansion, from hiring the right staff, and increasing the number of collections, to renovating the store during daily trading. Through this position I have enhanced my formal interaction techniques, with a view to becoming a better purchasing negotiator and man manager. Show less

      Sales Consultant

Calligaris offers high-quality Italian furniture to customers worldwide. As a sales consultant of the London flagship store, I must demonstrate the brand’s excellence to both trade accounts, repeat clientele, and general enquiries. Client management is the key part of the role, receiving their desirables for any order, breaking that down into objective deliverables, and proposing suitable furnishings to fulfil their needs. Since joining I have expanded my job role to track and organise all after sales care. This maximises client retention through quick and efficient service. This care has allowed the store to capture service orders, and repeat orders, previously missed. Show less
