Took the Women in Transition course and then assisted the course for a year. Took all the writing courses possible.

These forms help the company now have address and essential information already input, changing only a few digits of the Vin number, serial numbers and dates, when a single company has purchased a number of buses. Therefore a ton of time is saved. As I worked, I began scanning forms and documentation to Adobe Acrobat and wrote a detailed procedure manual. The commercial sales paperwork process, including rebates, invoicing, licensing documents, packet and warranty processing to the customer, and registering warranties with various manufactures is now efficiently described in an easy to follow pictorial manual. Especially helpful for those times when one needs to refresh on a rarely used circumstance.Catching up from a very busy time and creating a more efficient process was accomplished. Show less

It was a great way to get to know the many services that businesses offer, so that I can become part of their referral network. Really great people participate in the Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce. There are often several activities a week to choose from for amazing interactive participation. Jan-April 2015, Jan-April 2016Loving the return to Office work and working on a great team.Working closely with carriers across the country to hire truck drivers transporting Nursery Stock throughout the United States from Oregon and Washington. Using multiple line phones much of the day to build relations with trucking companies, drivers and nurseries. Entering and updating data, calling references and verifying insurance.Our 16 page carrier packet needed professional updating, photoshop cleanup of over-photocopied pages for clarity and readability, and usability. Using Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat, I improved the looks, value and usability of the documents and put them into PDF form. This means they could now be emailed, filled out by typing in blanks, saved and returned by email. This improvement helped us gain more readable information to enter data into the computer system. Busy truckers/trucking companies only needed to print and scan/fax the signature page. Faxed copy degradation was reduced by having top quality copy in the first place.Seasonal - Very good crash refresher in multi-tasking in a major way. Show less
