      Description: As an integral part of the Network team at Oracle INDIA, was involved in a diverse range of Network related activities. My primary role involves in managing all Network devices like Cisco Router and Switches, Juniper Net screen and related applications.MAIN FOCUS AREAS:• Monitoring, troubleshooting & fine-tuning switches and routers for issues relating to VLANs, Access-lists & Routing Protocols, and Poe• Configuration and Administration of Switches, Routers, Firewalls, resolving L2 related issues if any • Maintaining of all network devices and troubleshooting them remotely IMPLEMENTATION PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN:• Design and implementation of new branch offices in Bangalore ORACLE had around 4 small offices in Bangalore. It was planned to consolidate 4 branches to one huge office with the capacity of 8000 and I was a primary member in setting up of the branch office. Was given the prime responsibility for coordination with vendors at network level for implementation and participated in designing of WAN implementation for the branch. I have done configuration of all Cisco routers and switches in the office.• Responsible for handling all branches of Bangalore at IT level Being part of Global IT group was given the in charge of handling entire GIT operations right from the designing to the approval stage for three branches in Bangalore till all those branches got consolidated. Handled it with great perfection without any escalations.● New DC setup at White field oracle office.After acquiring Axiom’s systems, their DC shifted to oracle office for which I was the primary contact in designing and implementing the setup in the DC. Upon client request, I worked to establish a MPLS link to support Skype traffic and moved the existing traffic from Internet infrastructure to the ExpressRoute infrastructure via MPLS. Show less
