      Executive Officer (Highest Position)

My foundation in leadership and management began at NJROTC. I dedicated countless hours towards our unit's success. I will spare all the details and only present noteworthy accomplishments.Positions I have served:12th grade: Operations Officer (4 months), Executive Officer (6 months)11th grade: Command Chief (3 months), Supply Officer (7 months)10th grade: 1st Lieutenant, Color Guard Commander, Academic Team Commander9th grade: 1st LieutenantGoals Achieved of Note:As Executive Officer I managed a team of 20+ cadet officers. As the officer in charge of the staff, my team planned and successfully executed our unit's first leadership orientation event at Camp Parks (Army Base). As Supply Officer I managed our unit's inventory of over 3000 uniform items with the help of 3 assistant supply officers. We took regular, accurate, & (painful) inventories of my department. I also learned and utilized the Joint Unit Management System (JUMS) to track each cadet's issue records. We developed a standard process for issuing and returning items. Due to our efforts, we greatly contributed to our unit's evaluation in 2011 and won the Unit Achievement Award for exceptional performance which is only granted by the Area Manager of the pacific region (Area 13).As Academic Team Commander, I created and organized a club called "Homework Hang-out" where students would come after school to do homework and get free tutoring before heading home.
