  As a Polyvalent Logistician, I was responsible for ensuring that efficient and appropriate operational support is provided in office and staff houses and field offices. Participate in the implementation of the technical choices, policies and logistics procedures, and ensure compliance. Ensure implementation of the technical aspects of the risk reduction policy and the technical feasibility of the evacuation plan. I was responsible to keep the emergency stocks replenished; updating the emergency preparedness plan (EPREP); and providing a detachment of logistics staff without compromising normal activities. I was responsible for managing the storage of international and national orders, check received items regarding quality and quantity, and arrange physically all material entries in accordance with the stock organization. I was responsible for maintain ware house and stock.   As a Manager Risk Management, I was overall responsible for leadership, management oversight and technical assistance to the implementation of Risk Management SOPs and ensuring Staff Safety; reporting; learning and sharing good practices. I conducted regular and ad hoc security assessment as necessary, in order to gather information and to analyze the overall security situation in existing and potential areas of intervention, and taking lead in developing the mitigations measure/strategies, relevant SOP and implementation of these strategies in the field. Developed quarterly, monthly and weekly work plans for the Risk Management Unit in order to ensure that key strategic and operational objectives are met. I continuously monitored the security environment in all of CARE operational areas and consolidating feedback from the Field Office and partner’s organizations. Role of my job was also to Liaise with Government, Law Enforcing Agencies and other key external stakeholders to ensure that CARE staff can maintain a regular and safe access to program areas also ensured the physical safety and security standards and continuously maintained for all CARE offices and residences throughout in the country. I developed and implemented the quarterly training plans for all CARE staff focused on safety and security awareness and skill sets.   As a safety advisor I was responsible for Managing the development and implementation of the Danish Refugee Council’s (DRC’s) Safety Risk Management System (SRMS). I was ensuring compliance with DRC safety policy as stated in the DRC Operations Handbook. Supervised and mentor the Local Safety Officers (LSOs) in Nigeria. I was responsible to develop policies and procedure, in coordination with project staff, for the safe delivery of program activities. Facilitated Risk Assessments (RAs) and support the implementation of mitigation measures, managed the Safety Level System (SLS) for the program and ensured the submission of accurate and timely SLS assessments. I was responsible for developing the contextualized risk management policies, protocols and procedures, Facilitated program access and continuity through the provision of informed advice.
