  My role as a data analytics intern was to work with their aftermarket parts data to improve existing selling techniques and make the lives of the sales team a bit easier. I gained valuable experience with PowerBI and Alteryx throughout this journey as well as having my first true introduction to Big Data. From this time, I learned that understanding how to manipulate data is but a small piece of the challenge. The much larger task is to learn the industry and the company that you are working within. Data manipulation will do very little good without the knowledge and experience to make the most of the ability. Show less
