Responsible for overseeing the daily activities to ensure the center meets the needs of the community and is operating in the best interest of the college. Oversite of the comprehensive Public Safety organizational unit in the following disciplines: law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS). Responsible for developing internal/external partnerships; evaluating program delivery and recommend modifications based on trends, technology, and needs assessments; conducting research and analyzing information; developing program communications; requesting and monitoring grants; and creating and monitoring the budget development and implementation. Ensure alignment of policies, procedures, classes, and programs with WCCC’s Strategic Plan and compliance with Middle States Standards. Major accomplishments in the past 7-years:- 500% increase in student enrollment, 75% reduction in revenue loss, 50% expansion of offered classes, - 50% increase in revenue generation through industrial contract training, - implementation and oversight of Pennsylvania Department of Health Quick Response Unit for PSTC operations, - implementation of new Pennsylvania State Fire Academy certification programs with an average of 200-300 candidates testing per year, - hosting and oversight of the Western Pennsylvania Instructor Conference from 2022 to current,- design and application of heat protection control measures for the Class A burn building which has reduced natural wear & tear by usage significantly, while increase of use of Class A burn building has increased by 500%.
