  Mechanical Modeling and Simulations Lead

  Hyperloop is an open competition organized by SpaceX, encouraging University students to design and build the best Hyperloop pod. AZLoop finished amongst the Top 8 out of over 1000 teams worldwide at the Hyperloop Competition Weekend II in August 2017. Led a team of 5 people. Coordinated with various sub-teams to build a pod worth of over $150,000.- Designed hyperloop pod shell and chassis in Autodesk Fusion 360, conducted CFD, FEA analysis and optimization in ANSYS to obtain the optimum shape.- Designed, analyzed and integrated propulsion, levitation, braking and dynamic sub-team components of the pod using Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA). Conducted FMEA and rendered high quality images for official documents.- Generated CAM files in Autodesk to manufacture a 1/4 scale prototype and 1/2 scale competition mold for carbon fiber layup.   Made To Measure is a quality inspection laboratory for metrology located in the heart of East Dundee, IL. My responsibilities: -Examined engineering drawings (blueprints) to inspect various parts including Automotive, Aerospace, Medical parts. Interpreted GD&T to inspect conforming to ASME and ISO standards. -Created MODUS, Micro-Vu programs, while using manual measurement tools to complete inspection on assemblies and parts. Completed large scale inspection of over 25000 parts at once.-Performed Statistical Process Control (SPC) and created capability study reports, exercising mathematical concepts to understand, interpret underlying statics and convey the results to the customer.-Experience with FAI and Cpk dimensional analysis and reports for external vendors.-Reverse engineering parts, generating 3D CAD models in SolidWorks & detailed 2D blueprints.   Tridiagonal Solutions is a consulting house, providing solutions to the process industry leveraging advanced modeling, workflow automation and process data analytics techniques to provide solutions. My responsibilities: -Performed data cleaning & validation, analysis and modeling of structured and unstructured data from Oil and Gas, Process and Pharmaceutical industries.-Used PCA for prediction of event detection and setting control limits for normal operation of pressure vessels. Developed one dimensional monitoring model using dimensionality reduction.-Developed ML models for prediction with 90% accuracy using Linear Regression, PLS and Interpolation of CFD simulation data reducing resource cost and time required for first principle analyses. -Created interactive standalone webapps using voila in Jupyter for real time monitoring of process data from plant. Developed Power BI dashboards and used python scripts for dynamic visualizations. -Collaborated with SMEs to compile technical resource handbook using Quality by Design principles.-Completed Seeq training courses.
