  Research assistant aimed toward plotting the variability of red supergiants in M31 with recent data to add to a past publication (https://arxiv.org/pdf/1803.09934.pdf) that included light curves that did not show complete periods for some of the more massive stars in the data. My goal is to use this newer ZTF data to finish out these huge periods of the red supergiant stars. Operated the Stellar & Observational Astronomy classes’ lab equipment, including: a Schmit Cassegrain 1x 200 12” Meade Telescope and a Celestron 8” Schmidt-Cassegrain Computerized Telescope Running and analyzing simulations coded in Python to calculate chaotic gravitational orbits. Writing script in Python to optimize the Muon Tomography telescope data at the Advanced Particle Detector Lab at Reese Campus for Texas Tech University.
