  Summer Intern: Electronics and Electrical Engineering Education

  Chosen by the electronics and electrical engineering department across the entire first year cohort to represent the student body via this internship opportunity, the aim of my project is to implement lab practical (demonstration using physical circuits) in lectures to increase students' understanding and enjoyment by linking theory to practice, as well as creating outreach videos for primary and secondary school students to spark their interest in electronics.

  P&G Gillette Electrical Engineering Internship

  Working with both the instrumentation and industrial data & analytics team at Gillette, I gained hands on experience in building, evaluating and testing 2D and 3D vision systems for defect detection, attaining expertise in Matrox hardware and software. Additionally, I developed a data acquisition and collection system, establishing a connection between a Linux-based IPC and a Matrox controller using Python and OPCUA, and productionised the code with Docker. I also led a team in a prototype development project using 3D scanning and printing technologies, collaborating with the global team, managing time with Gantt charts and confidently presenting key results.
