  As a VP of Enterprise Architecture and Strategy, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of architecture and product life cycle management and creating and maintaining the strategic product roadmap, defining market requirements, facilitating product communication, competitive analysis and building go to market strategies for all TMW products. In addition, I am also responsible for working across various organizations within TMW and also Trimble Transportation sector to build consensus on product vision and strategy, as well as coordinating activities between marketing, sales, development, and the solution delivery organization, to fulfil organization vision. Accomplishments include delivering routing, scheduling and dispatch applications to the last mile market segment. Clientele includes small customers operating twenty trucks to large enterprises with four thousand vehicles. Enhancing routing and scheduling applications with various features and functionalities to address changing market needs. Adding route management functions to web-based dispatch system. Design and development of automated fixed route management process that streamlines repetitive tasks seen in food, beverage, and service-based industries. Create data integration strategy to allow seamless data flow between internal and external systems. Converged of all routing and scheduling applications into a single platform enhancing user experience. Show less It was a challenging role in my career as it gave me an opportunity to completely re-architect a set of applications on a different platform. As the business grew, the web-based dispatch application developed on Delphi platform with an Interbase database wasn’t able to handle a large volume of GPS and order transaction data. So the company decided to rewrite the application from scratch, and I was made responsible for architecting the entire solution – creating data model, ORM, business objects and user interface. Hired a team of developers from an offshore company in India and completed the projected in a year within budget using DOT NET and SQL Server technologies. As the project was a success, the company decided to rewrite the flagship routing product in DOT NET application as well. We decided to take the same approach and completed that in about 18 months.
